Chefs Food Fest
The 21st Annual Chefs Food Fest will feature
the best cuisine creations from the top chefs along the
Colorado River. From soups and salads to main dishes and
scrumptious desserts, restaurants, resorts and our wine
and beer vendors go all out for this annual sold-out local
charity fundraiser. Tickets will be available through the
Laughlin Chamber of Commerce beginning September 4th, 2008.

Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic
Hosted by Mojave Resort Golf Club and Sponsored by
the Avi Resort and Casino. The registration, continental
breakfast and Calcutta will begin at 6:30 a.m. and Shot
Gun Start at 8:00 a.m. Sponsorship tee signs and pre-registration

Winter Break
Winter Break is a festival celebrating life to the fullest,
targeting the 50+ age group. It is modeled after a traditional
Spring Break along the banks of the Colorado River. The
festival offers non-stop activities and events including
dancing, wine tasting, live entertainment, classic car show,
arts and crafts, educational seminars, and specially-themed

Laughlin Desert Challenge (Score Off Road Races)
Laughlin Special Events Park is home to the annual Laughlin
Leap, where off-road vehicles and monster trucks compete
for cash and bragging rights in a contest that sees these
vehicles fly off a hill, leaping more than 100' through
the air. Visitors also enjoy two action-packed days of off
road desert racing.

Laughlin River Stampede
This is one of PRCA's biggest rodeos of the year. More than
$200,000 in prize money assures that America's top cowboys
and cowgirls will be competing. Autograph sessions are held
daily with many past and present world champions, along
with Miss Rodeo America and Miss Rodeo Nevada.

Xtreme Bulls
This premier PRCA-sanctioned event features 40 of the world's
top bull riders who will take their shot at a $60,000 purse
and the Laughlin Xtreme Bulls title. The top 12 finalists
will compete in the Sunday finals. Laughlin will also welcome
the baddest, meanest, rankest one-ton athletes in the world!

Laughlin River Run
Always held the last full weekend in April, there will be
motorcycles as far as the eye can see! More than 50,000
bikers from all walks of life enjoy top-name entertainment,
a poker run, displays, competitions - including awards for
the best custom motorcycle in the bunch - and hundreds of
vendors in the West's largest ride-in bike rally.

Community Achievement Awards
The communities of Laughlin, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona
honor civic leaders who have improved the quality of life
along the Colorado River in fourteen categories including
the highly anticipated Youth Citizen of the Year Award.
This is the area's premier black-tie dinner and ceremony
honoring exceptional individuals and agencies throughout
the Colorado River communities based on their local professional
and personal community contributions. The gala includes
a gourmet dinner, fine wines and entertainment. For more

Rockets Over the River
Traditionally, this is a 20-minute fireworks displays launched
over the waters of the Colorado River. Among the most spectacular
displays in the West, these fireworks are choreographed
to music on a high-fidelity sound system and broadcast on
area radio stations. Free to the public with best viewing
at the Laughlin resorts and casinos.
