The Laughlin Chamber of Commerce is now open to the public | Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30 PM.

In light of the current circumstances and following standard recommendations, we will continue to practice “social distancing” and proper sanitation in order to keep our staff and guests safe. You can view a copy of our mitigation procedures HERE. Please stop by our “No Touch” lobby for all of your traveling, visitor and community information; Claudia will be happy to help you!  Our team is also available by appointment should you need further assistance.  If you have immediate questions or concerns or need to schedule an appointment, you can reach us at (702) 298-2214 or by email at

It is nice to be back in the office and more productive. Working from home, we continued the education of our students and tackled the challenges of diminished technology away from the office.

Throughout this period we:

answered every call

responded to each email

cultivated relationships and founded new ones

assisted business and community organizations with programs that create hope and encouragement

obtained small business layoff aversion grants to keep 12 Laughlin employees working

maintained marketing and creative services for our members

released our weekly newsletter e-blast and developed the COVID-19 weekly update e-blast

developed a 30-day FREE trial program for businesses who need help with a short budget

performed as a tourism/visitor center and Laughlin information booth

partnered with Clark County, Southern Nevada Health District, Aquarius Casino Resort, the Volunteers in Partnership and Emergency Response on a Laughlin COVID 19 testing site

One of our proudest accomplishments is this COVID 19 News and Resource Newsletter. Every day we schedule and attend meetings and workshops to ensure that YOU have current press release information, access to federal, tri-state and tri-county relief programs, and everything CDC/WHO related for your convenience. As we re-open our states and communities in the Colorado River Region, I encourage you to support local business, remain diligent in your protection of our vulnerable citizens, volunteer and help the less fortunate, maintain optimism and stay solution focused for our future.

As the Team Leader of the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce and the Volunteers in Partnership (VIPs), I take pride in being the promoter of some of the region’s most popular community events. The Chef’s Food Fest is 31 years old; attended by more than 550 people, in partnership with the talented chefs along the Colorado River with a commitment of donating a minimum of $15,000 to the River Fund, Inc. for emergency services. The Connie Davis 5K Walk & Roll for Cancer just celebrated its 5th year at the Pyramid Canyon and Heritage Trails in Laughlin and was attended by more than 500 people who received free of charge, breakfast, lunch, t-shirts, event bags and entertainment. The participants entire $25 entry fee is then donated to the River Fund, Inc.’s Cancer Connection to provide assistance to local cancer patients in need. 2018’s donation exceeded $11,000! The annual Community Achievement Awards black tie gala will be celebrating its 21st year in October. Nominations are made to a judging panel of 11 who vets and then interviews the final 4 in each category, for the prestigious crystal awards. The crystals are presented to our outstanding individuals and organizations in our region. Youth award winners also receive scholarships. In an attempt to provide an outlet for our youth experiencing hardship, the Chamber held its 1st Annual Freedom of Expression event in 2017 to promote personal artistry and of course, freedom of expression… Attendees of the July event raised $4,800 for student art programs in our region’s schools to ensure that those who want to express themselves have the tools to do so.

Our mission is to support our members and community by identifying and addressing the changing needs of our region – focusing on building a vibrant and prosperous resort town, increasing tourism, promoting recreation, educating our youth and business owners, and giving back to those in need.

My passion is to build on the education of our youth and their skill sets, build our communities safety net, share the opportunities the area has for recreational adventure, build new businesses and support our resorts. Did you know that Laughlin ranks in the top 5 for the BEST Retirement Places in NV and Bullhead City ranks in the top 5 for the BEST Cost of Living in AZ? With all of our amazing events, recreation, businesses and resorts, why would you not want to be a part of our region….?

It still amazes me when people say there is nothing to do here; my staff and I have plenty of great ideas to share with you. Please feel free to stop by the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce office to say hi and find out what opportunities exist for your visit, possible relocation and starting a new business.

Strengthening the bridge that connects our communities

We are centrally located between the Los Angeles Basin and Phoenix, Arizona just 90 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada and is set in a rugged mountain terrain which gently slopes to the cool banks of the Colorado River.

Named in 1968 after founder Don Laughlin, owner of the Riverside Resort, Laughlin is known in the Southwest as a preferred alternative to Las Vegas. Laughlin delivers an incredibly beautiful riverside setting, and a more friendly, laid back and safe atmosphere.
